Perfect for a wedding or a pop festival, my romantic designs epitomise an English summer’s day….
I was born on our family farm in a little village near Warsaw. Tradition decreed that the baby must choose from a selection of objects to determine the future. I touched the scissors and soon I was making clothes for myself and school friends, adding my own spin to designs I loved in magazines.
After studying fashion and design, I came to England and honed my embroidery skills working with Cathryn Avison who is well known in the world of fashion and costume design for film and theatre. I have been making and embroidering dresses and cashmere for the Avison fashion label ever since.
Now I am excited to be starting my own.
I want women to feel special and different in my clothes and confident that no one will ever be wearing the same.
The ethereal colours of the countryside beneath my studio window are the palette for my embroidered gossamer dresses, camisoles and accessories. Subtle and stronger colours inspire me and suit different complexions and changing moods.
I stain natural fabrics – luxurious satins, silks, floaty chiffon and French lace – to create my fairy-tale style which effortlessly flatters the body and is perfect for an event or dressed down for a festival feel. Each piece in my collection is unique and I will also accept bespoke commissions.
I live in West Sussex with my husband, daughter, Labrador, a ginger cat and my trusty sewing machines. Thank you everyone who has helped me to get this far – you know who you are.
